Story
This coffee comes from ASOBAGRI, a Fairtrade and Organic cooperative founded in 1989 in the highlands of Huehuetenango. Today, it includes more than 1,900 members across 87 communities, many of whom are indigenous women farmers. ASOBAGRI is committed to sustainable agriculture, high-quality coffee production, and community empowerment.
Grown at high altitude, this coffee combines Bourbon, Catuai, Typica, Villalobos, and Catimor varieties. The cherries are fully washed and sun-dried, developing a vibrant cup with bright clove, citrusy orange, and tart cranberry. Each sip reflects not just the flavors of the Guatemalan highlands, but the care, resilience, and vision of the women and communities behind it.
