GUATEMALA ORGANIC

ASOBAGRI is a well-organized cooperative with over 1,400 members from 80 communities, who grow and process their own coffee on small farms. They successfully promote gender equality, particularly through a group called Las Dueñas Cafe, which supports 182 female members with training and technical assistance from five women technicians.

They also use coffee pulp to create organic fertilizers, reducing costs and improving crop quality. Additionally, women members have diversified their income by investing in chicken farms, avocado trees, and local cafes.
